Privacy Policy
Instarecall is provided by CTF Designs ("Instarecall," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how the current version of the Instarecall mobile application and this website handle information.
The short version
The current app stores your reminders locally on your device. It does not require an account, send your saved items to us, use advertising or analytics SDKs, or sell personal information. The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Information stored by the app
When you choose to share content to Instarecall, the app may store the shared link or text, a title or source, the category you select, reminder date and time, status, and related timestamps. This information is stored in the app's local database on your device.
Information we receive
The current app has no CTF Designs account system or cloud backend and does not transmit your saved reminders to us. If you email support, we receive the information you voluntarily include, such as your email address, message, and attachments. We use it only to respond, diagnose the issue, maintain appropriate business records, and protect our rights.
Permissions and device features
- Notifications: used to alert you when a reminder is due. You can disable notifications in device settings.
- Exact alarms: used on supported Android versions to deliver reminders near the time you select.
- Share interface: Instarecall receives only content you explicitly share to it.
- Open links: saved links may open in another app or browser governed by that provider's policies.
Advertising, analytics, and sales
The current version contains no advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs. We do not sell or share Instarecall reminder data for targeted advertising.
Retention and deletion
App data remains on your device until you delete an item, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Because we do not receive a server-side copy of your reminders, we cannot recover or remotely delete them. Support emails are retained only as reasonably necessary for support, security, legal, and business-record purposes. See our data-deletion instructions for the steps and support-request process.
Children
Instarecall is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Security
The app relies on the operating system's application sandbox and device security. No storage method is completely secure. Avoid placing passwords, financial account numbers, health records, or similarly sensitive data in reminder titles or notes.
California privacy notice
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act. The current app does not send us reminder data. California residents may contact us regarding personal information contained in support correspondence.
International users
CTF Designs is located in California, United States. Information you send directly to support may be processed in the United States.
Changes
If we introduce accounts, synchronization, analytics, advertising, or materially different data handling, we will update this policy before or when those features are released and provide any notice required by law.
